Immediately Satisfied
Iwas truly saddened to hear about
Dr. Webber’s passing. Saddened
for us, of course, as his place with
the Father was long ago secured.
I know that he was a friend to
you at Worship Leader, and his absence
here on earth will be felt most vividly by you and those who intimately knew him. But we, the readers of
Worship Leader magazine, have also
come to appreciate His no-nonsense
and enlightened approach to worship.
I’m certain that when he arrived at his
destination, his need to hear profound
and genuine worship was immediately
satisfied.
Best Gifts
Iam a worship leader at a very small
church in a small town, and therefore, we have somewhat limited resources. Our music department budget
for the year is $600—what some of
the “big boys” might spend on a mic. A
really cheap mic at that! Last Christmas,
I begged my husband for a Worship Leader
subscription. The Song DISCovery CDs that I
am receiving are such a huge blessing to
me that I had to let you know. There is always something that I can use, and the enhanced CD format is easy to follow—even
for a computer illiterate person like me (I
crash the church computer on a regular
basis). I would never be able to purchase
all the different CDs or music books featured on each volume, even if I had the
time to track them all down after working
a full time job, looking after my family
and home, putting together a set list, re-hearsing…well, you know the drill.
Thank you so much for such an excellent magazine and CD. It is one of the best
gifts I have ever received, and when it’s
time to renew, it will be the best money I
spend all year. And now, I’m going to go
to the Resource DISCovery site to check it
out—if I don’t crash the computer first.
What people are saying
about the National Worship Leader
Conference:
A Great Difference
Thanks for such a wonderful conference. I came to find God, and
believe me we all know how powerfully He showed up. Thank you,
thank you, thank you and everyone at Riverbend. I’m overflowing with
so many wonderful things that it will
take me many days of awesome reliving
to even begin to know what God wants
me to do. Again what a great difference
this week has been for me and all the
attendees.
Yours truly,

A Word of Thanks
Thanks for providing us with
Worship Leader magazine. I’ve only been
a worship minister for a year and
the information that I am getting
from your magazine is priceless.
It really helps to hear from other worship leaders/pastors to get their views
on worship.
Thanks

To Dave Edwards:
Thank you for allowing the Lord
use you to encourage me. Since
talking with you and sitting in
your classes, I’ve started to write
songs again.
… I felt revived In my devotional
time with God. It’s like we are on a
whole new level—I hear the music more
clearly, my heart feels free again—from
the opinions and misconceptions.
I devoured your book Pentecost: Season
of Power. It reminded me of all the things
the Holy Spirit taught me about worshiping the Lord and having sincere, transparent relationships with others and of
loving unconditionally simply because
people need to be loved. I’ve started
Worship 365—I’m just basking in it.
Sincerely,
Julie Tumblin
